Michael brings over two decades of specialised experience in automation, digitisation, and data-driven transformation. He was previously the Financial Services Leader at a leading AI consulting firm based in Melbourne, Australia, specialising in helping businesses pivot to GenAI-driven models. Before that, he had a 22-year career at Microsoft, where he held numerous strategic leadership roles, including Partner Sales Director, Partner Development Director, Partner Technology Director (CTO), Head of Azure Strategic Sales, and Financial Services Director. Before Microsoft, Michael had senior sales and general management roles at S1 and NCR Corporation.
A lifelong learner, Michael has completed leadership, sales, and governance development (AICD, Korn Ferry, MIT AI). Outside of technology, his interests include surf lifesaving, volunteering, surfing, swimming, and reading.
